How do I order fuel?
Use the Request Fuel page to request a fuel delivery. Our office will contact you to confirm your
request before your delivery will be scheduled. You may also call our office to set up an account or
to place an order with one of our representatives.

How do I get the Cash Discount Price?
Our Cash Discount Price is offered to customers who:
- Pay by check, money order, or cash at time of delivery
- Maintain a sufficient credit balance on their account to pay for the requested delivery
- Become a budget customer
- Prearrange terms with our accounting department

Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept Visa, Master Card, and Discover. The price for fuel ordered will be the base price,
not the Cash Discount Price explained above.

Can I get an emergency delivery?
After-hours deliveries are available for a fee. If you call our office after hours, you will be transferred
directly to our answering service. Leave a message with them stating your needs and one of our
deliveries drivers will call you.

Please do not use the online fuel request. Those are not checked until the next morning.

Do you offer a pre-buy, lock-in, or cap price?
Yes. During the 2010-11 heating season we will be offering a fixed rate, prebuy price on the #2 fuel.
There is a 500 gallon minimum. Please contact our office for further information.

Do you have a payment plan?
Yes, we do! Our Blue Star Payment Plan begins in July and continues through June of the next year. More
information about this service can be found in our Blue Star Payment Plan Letter. All Blue Star customers are
required to have a completed Credit Application on file.

What is your minimum delivery?
We have a minimum delivery requirement of 100 gallons. If your tank cannot take the 100 gallons, we
will assess a $20 minimum gallon delivery fee. If you would like to request between 50 and 100 gallons,
please call our office to make arrangements.

Do you accept Fuel Assistance?
Yes, we do accept LiHEAP and other Fuel Assistance plans (such as CED, town assistance plans, charities, etc.).

What Fuels do you Sell?
We offer #2 Home Heating Fuel, K-1 kersoene, liquid propane, On Road and Off Road Diesel Fuels, and Gas,
for both home and commercial delivery.

Do you offer Oil Burner Service?
We have four excellent home energy conservation technicians that we recommend.

Can I sign up for automatic or scheduled delivery?
We do offer automatic and scheduled deliveries. More information about this service can be found in our
Automatic Delivery Letter. Please fill out our Delivery Information Sheet and our required Credit Application
to sign up.

What are your business hours?
We are available for delivery service 24/7, but if you’d like to come by and visit, our office hours are listed
on the Contact Us page.

Do you have a customer referral program?
We’ve heard from many of our customers that they love our fast, friendly service and competitive prices.
We have also gained many new customers because of the zealous recommendations of our current customers.
Though we appreciate these referrals very much, we do not offer a customer referral reward at this time.

How do you keep your prices so low?
We buy top quality heating oil at the same place all those other guys do.
We keep our prices low by keeping an eye on market trends, keeping the business of delivering oil simple, and
requiring a 100 gallon minimum at time of delivery.
